The MiniMixer 3D nutating shaker from Benchmark Scientific provides a 3-dimensional nutating motion for moderately aggressive mixing. This mini shaker can handle loads up to 1.6kg and features a maintenance free brushless motor. The platform size and rubber mat configuration of the device allows for thorough foam-free mixing in blood tubes, centrifuge tubes and flat vessels as well.
The Benchmark Scientific MiniMixer features autoclavable dimpled mats for tubes. There are also flat mats available for mixing other vessel types. For stacking purposes, stacking platforms can also be purchased. These platforms can effectively double the usable surface area of each model. Even the smallest single platform configuration has 24% more platform work surface than most of the conventional nutating mixers.
