The myBlock series is an innovative line of dry baths from Benchmark Scientific. They feature many advantages over traditional dry baths that make them more efficient and convenient. The myBlock dry bath is the first digital bath to include advanced microprocessor controls, timed or continuous operation, and a removable hinged lid. Real-time control and monitoring of sample temperature can be accomplished with the use of an external temperature probe that can be positioned directly inside a sample tube.
The myBlock dry bath also features a transparent lid the improves uniformity and minimizes temperature stratification in the block by maintaining a warm air jacket layer. Consumption of energy is also reduced due to minimal heat loss into the environment. The bath's hinged lid flips open to the rear of the dry bath or it can be easily removed to accommodate a variety of taller tubes.
The myBlock II dual block dry bath can be ordered in a configuration that includes the unique Quick-Flip blocks. The universal dry bath blocks can accommodate tubes from 0.5 to 2.0ml and, with a quick flip to the other side, can accommodate 0.2ml tubes or PCR strips. You may also choose from a variety of other tube blocks to go with your dry bath that can hold tubes up to 50 ml. (tube blocks sold separately from the myBlock)
